Flagship is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to help us meet this mission.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, this person is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic and tactical marketing plans. With a growth-oriented, strategic approach to marketing, Flagship Biosciences is seeking a highly-motivated individual who can quickly learn our value proposition relating to service offerings and strategy, while leveraging their existing experience to drive the business forward. The successful candidate will be a creative, energetic marketing and branding professional with high business acumen and knowledge of the consultative business to business sales process. There are potential opportunities for advancement for the individual that meets and exceeds the responsibilities and deliverables of the Marketing Manager role.

In This Role You Will:

  • Plan, implement, and manage all marketing activities for the company
  • Identify and manage the appropriate mix of marketing channels
  • Manage the digital marketing strategy, including the company website and social media
  • Manage the creation of collateral that supports client and prospect messaging
  • Collaborate with scientists, technicians, designers, external influencers, and industry experts to produce relevant content
  • Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Understand, interpret and articulate market trends and macro-economic factors that impact the needs of the client
  • Develop and maintain a constant awareness of the competitive market, including capabilities and offerings, product launches and positioning
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all service lines, promotional materials, and events
  • Plan and manage conferences, tradeshows, and events
  • Monitor the marketing budget, and measure and report on the return on investment (ROI) of marketing expenditures
  • Manage marketing specialist contractors such as graphic designers and editors and manage support services such as market research subscriptions and digital optimization services

 About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing-related field
  • 5 + years of experience in all aspects of developing marketing strategies and executing marketing tactics including:
    • Marketing innovative products and/or services through consultative B2B selling in a healthcare environment
    • In depth understanding of decision maker behavior, content production, creative services process, and market research
    • Translating scientific features to client-focused value proposition messaging
    • Managing budgets that drive ROI
    • Relevant product and industry knowledge
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills, with demonstrated ability to present data and conclusions in an organized, concise manner at all levels throughout the company
  • Self-driven and willingness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced high growth, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
  • Willingness to take on multiple tasks simultaneously and perform at high levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in Diagnostics or Pharma/Biotech sector
  • Educational background with a focus on both science and business
